About me :
Chiaki Sakurai (Osteopath) B Clin Sc, M Ost Med, Dip Rem Mass
I have been practicing manual therapy for over 15 years. My journey began as a spa therapist in Japan and then led me to Australia, where I studied Remedial massage and later completed a Master's degree in Osteopathic Medicine at Southern Cross University in Lismore. My passion for supporting people's health and well-being has continued to grow, driving me to deepen my knowledge and skills. I find the human body truly fascinating, especially how its systems interconnect and influence each other in subtle and powerful ways to keep us alive. I enjoy combining deep tissue work with gentle techniques, tailoring my approach to meet each person's unique needs.  My holistic approach considers not only physical symptoms but also psychological factors and lifestyle, recognising that all aspects of life influence health.
